Strategic diagnostic
Structured assessment of current operations and of the potential for automation and applied artificial intelligence. Delivered within one week.
The strategic diagnostic is the usual starting point for a working relationship. The initial session lasts between two and four hours and covers, in depth, the business model, value chain, critical operational processes, data architecture and existing technology.
From that session I produce a report identifying between ten and twenty improvement opportunities, each quantified in expected impact and execution effort. Opportunities are prioritized by expected return and ease of implementation, and the report includes an indicative roadmap for the following ninety days.
The deliverable is designed to be discussed at the executive committee level. Experience shows that, frequently, three or four of the proposed actions concentrate the majority of the potential value.
